So, Wes and I went to his parents house Sunday afternoon. His grandparents came down from Alto and Lindsey (his sister) was there as well. Her husband Bob had school. I was so excited to go see them! It's funny, cause I get so happy when we get to spend time with his family. They are honestly some of the nicest, most caring people I've ever met. Wes and Lindsey are their babies and it shows. These are the type of grandparents we all want!! I love my Mimi and Papa very much, by the way. It's just different. Anyhow, we ate like fatties! OMG! We had fried green tomatoes and BBQ and beans and banana pudding. It was sooo good. After we ate and visited a while, we had to say our goodbyes. My mom had invited us over for dinner last week, so it was off to Kingwood.
So, we headed to moms and she made chicken spaghetti, salad and bread and holy crap, it was sooo good. My momma can COOK!! We had a good time visiting with her as well. My mommy is sooooo sweet. I swear, she's the best mother in the world. We sat in the back yard and talked about everything from Botox to bats (the flying kind). After wrapping up a snack pack, we headed home. It's always fun to spend time with family on Sundays. I love that.
So, that was my Sunday. We came home, did laundry and fell asleep. It was a great day though. It was time spent with my baby and the people we love the most. Couldn't ask for more!
